Broken bands

Recently I've almost exclusively, and with no real intention, been listening to bands that no longer exist. This morning (and a great portion of last night too) I've been returning to The Junior Varsity and decided that they're one of the most under rated bands in my CD collection. Some of the song writing on The Great Compromise is awesome and this band really should have been given more credit. The fact that they aren't adds to their charm though, as its like you've got this awesome secret that you can pop back to from time to time and enjoy all over again. Wide Eyed is one of my favourite releases and it would be a good starting point for anyone - its a good mix of haunting vocals and catchy melodies. Don't you worry about the sky, its on fire!
